West Coast University (WCU), a private university with the singular focus of educating health care professionals, is currently seeking a Director of Clinical Relations for our Center for Graduate Studies in Los Angeles, CA. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional to join a growing university as we expand our academic programs in health care and related fields.


SUMMARY:
Supports all campuses in building and maintaining strategic clinical relationships for advancement of West Coast University's mission. 

Has direct oversight of the clinical operations for the graduate programs at our Center for Graduate Studies. 
Audit policies and placements for clinical partners.
Oversees campus clinical manager positions to ensure there is continuity in processes and procedures across the University. 
Maintains the University's clinical partners including Business Development, Career Services, and Admissions. 
Executes the West Coast University clinical partner philanthropic/research efforts. 
Supports student clinical initiatives such as the scheduling and clinical requirements processes (CORE/American Databank). 
Oversight of the clinical dashboard inputs for each campus. 
Represents West Coast University to the community, providing and maintaining a positive image of West Coast University to the community.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master's degree in Business or Health Administration preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
Specializes in one or more related disciplines with advanced knowledge. Expert in the subject matter within the school/area.

Experience in administering projects and programs required.

Generally 5-7 years of relevant experience required.

Knowledgeable of medical community and established relationships with professional memberships.

Knowledgeable of education standards such as ACICS, BRN, CCNE, WASC, and other accreditation standards.
Experience with MS Office.
Minimum 2-3 years experience as college or university faculty. 
Minimum 2-3 years experience working with or in clinical sites, placing students, and coordinating related documents preferred.
Clinical background preferred. 
Sales experience a plus.
