EDUCATION:
 

Minimum of a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field required.

 
Must be a graduate from a program accredited by a regional or national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
 

Licensed Occupational Therapist or a licensed, certified or registered (if required by state) Occupational Therapy Assistant.

 

Current CPR Card.


EXPERIENCE:
 

Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant which includes clinical practice, administrative experience and experience with OTAs.

 

At least one (1) year in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postsecondary level.

 

Leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to foster excellence.

 

Knowledge in technological support and delivery of program area and services.

 

Knowledge and evidence of strong supervisory and management skills as applicable to specialized program area. 

 

Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards such as Title IV,  California Bureau for  Private Postsecondary Education, Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), Commission on Accreditation Council in Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) and other accreditation standards. 

 

Experience with MS Office.
